After the change of the battery the phone, after switching on, does not see the provider and remains perpetually in 'search', also recovering the old battery the same problem persist.

hey, when you change or remove the battery it changes the date sometimes back to 1970 :/ that stops the phone from getting wifi signal and cellular reception. what you can do is go into settings on the phone and change auto update on and off,sometimes flicking on aeroplane mode works aswell then off, but the easiest thing to do is plug it into a computer with iTunes that should change the date and time straight away and your signal will come back
