Changed iPod battery still loses its charge overnight?

I recently changed my Ipod battery as the old one was not holding a charge. The new battery works fine but it loses its charge overnight. The new battery is a 450mAh one, should I get a new 580mAh battery to see if it will solve the problem or is the problem the logicboard??

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

binod5098, the larger battery will also loose some of it's charge, it will just take longer to be fully depleted this is a case where the mAh wont matter. Check your settings to see where you are losing the charge. Backlight and hard drive etc. are tough on power

Thanks, do you think changing the hard drive to a SD card (Reader) drive will have any effect on the problem?

The power consumption will definitely be less:-)

Nice, I might give that a try. Is there a limit to how big the SD card size I could use, as the Ipod is a 30gb.
