iPhone 5s water damge: Is it still fixable?

I have a iPhone 5s, which I got in February, and I have been extremely careful with this phone. So careful, in fact, that I bought a Lifeproof Nuud case from Lifeproof, so that it could not possibly break. On the day before my school began, Sunday August 23rd, I went to a pool party, where my sister dropped my phone in the pool. In short, my case was not lifeproof, amd my phone was damaged. At first, there were only screen stains, then a large black 'hole', then it died. I did not charge it, or turn it on. Now, exactly 6 weeks later, I got curious and plugged it in to see if it would turn on. It surprised me, and did turn on. The black hole is very small, and there is no other screen damage, except for 3 very faint lines on the left, and a tiny brown tint in the bottom right corner. I got every notification, but it seems I lost all my contacts, as all my texts are from actual number. It is searching for service, I can use all the buttons properly, and it will not slide to unlock or respond to me touvhing the touch screen at all. Im curious if it was still fixable? Like, if I got the screen replaced and my phone cleaned, would it be saved? Thank you

You can try having your phone professionally water damage treated and some parts might need to be replaced but it is possible to have it working again!
