Why wont my lap top start after replacing battery and power sply?
I put a new battery in my lap top and tried to start it and it wont come on or charge the battery.

Is you power supply working properly ? You power jack could also be broken , where you plug in your power supply to the computer. What model of laptop do you have . The model number could help

power sply new so is battery. pavilion win 7

ok do you get any indication of any power to the machine at all any lights or fans or does the hard drive spin?
Try this remove the battery and disconnect the power then with all power sources disconnected press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. this will clear any electrostatic discharge
I get nothing no fan no lights or drive sounds
