Can I install Kingston HyperX Impact RAM in my Mac?

Heyy everyone :)

I need new RAM in my MacBook Pro. I want to get the Impact, but I'm not sure if it will fit. Does anyone have any experience with this RAM in a MacBook? I heard it fits in a 2011 MacBook, but can't find anything on the Mid-2012.

Thanks in Advance!

The Mid-2012 and 2011 MacBooks all use DDR3 1333MHz SO-DIMM modules, so if it works in the 2011 in will work in the Mid-2012. If it is the Retina model (which you can tell by seeing if your screen does not say MacBook Pro on it) then it takes the faster 1600MHz modules, but even if the RAM if faster it will clock down to the speed it needs to be at, and if its slower the ram won’t be the fastest but it will still be an upgrade.

Hope this helps!!!
