Hi everyone,
I recently purchased an ipad mini 2 of ebay which had a broken screen and a the touch screen didn't work. I replaced the digitizer without a hitch and everything works, except the digitizer still does not respond to touch. Does anyone have any experience with this/advice about what to do? Any help will be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi Rohan! If you folded the ribbon cable correctly and you haven't damaged the cable, the solution is that you bought a faulty digitizer. I came across the same situation and the digitizer i bought was faulty.
BUT before changing the digitizer again try reseting the ipad by holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds until the Apple logo appears. See then if it responds.

You should take a look at the connector that it plugs into and see if it looks damaged.
