My iPad 2 is not completing updates for apps

Just in the last week or so, my iPad has not completed installation of any app updates. I have tried "Update All" as well as individual updates. The download circle appears and fills in completely. Then the process stops and doesn't finish installing the update. Any ideas?

Is it connected to wi-fi and does it have any storage left?

According to WIFI under Settings, yes. But under Settings/General/About/Network, it shows "Not Available". I think I am because I'm able to access the internet and I don't have cellular service. Also, I have 13.5G remaining memory.

Definitely make sure you're connected to wifi and have storage left like lillgubben recommended above. If so, close all running apps and do a reset by holding the power & home button at the same time till the device shuts off and reboots. Once its rebooted try to load the updates again.

It seems to be working, so far. Thanks a lot. Now I hope it does something for my iOS update. It tries and tries to get it, but then gives up. I think I'm two behind now. I am still on 8.4.1.
