There could be several possible reasons why your device or appliance is turning off every time you try to turn it on using an IR remote. Here are a few things you might try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the batteries: If the batteries in the IR remote are low or dead, the remote may not function properly. Replace the batteries with fresh ones to see if that resolves the issue.
  2. Check the range: Make sure that the IR remote is within range of the device or appliance. The maximum range of the remote may vary depending on the model of the device or appliance, so consult the manufacturer's instructions for more information.
  3. Check for interference: Other electronic devices or appliances, such as cell phones or Wi-Fi routers, can sometimes interfere with the signal from the IR remote. Try moving the remote or the device to a different location to see if that resolves the issue.
  4. Check the IR receiver: If the remote and the batteries are functioning properly, the issue could be with the IR receiver in the device or appliance. Consult the manufacturer's instructions or a qualified repair technician for assistance in troubleshooting the receiver.

I hope these suggestions help to resolve the issue with your IR remote. If you are still experiencing problems after trying these steps, it may be a good idea to consult the manufacturer or a qualified repair technician for further assistance.
