No CSM/Secure Boot/UEFI options in BIOS. Can't install WIN10 on SSD
I bought an ASUS notebook, R510LB (X550LB motherboard) a year ago. It's runing now WIN10 (on the HDD it came with) and everything works fine. I't came with FreeDOS.
Month ago, I've bought a new SDD for the laptop - Intel 535 (240gb). Iv'e replaced the HDD with the new SSD - but the only OS intaller to detect the SSD is Windows 7.
Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Ubuntu 15.04 installers don't detect the SSD.. Even though it appears on the BIOS.
The problem is not the SSD - Iv'e tried to connect it to another PC and WIN10 installer recognizes it there. Iv'e also update the SSD firmware to the lastest, and tried to format it both to MBR & GPT. Nothing works..
I'm sure the problem is in the laptop's BIOS - because I've noticed that there is no CSM/Secure Boot/UEFI options there... I tried to update the BIOS to the last version (403) and still these options are missing.. All the other options in the BIOS didn't solve the issue..
There is any way I can solve this issue and install WIN10 on the SSD with this laptop?
Is this a good question?
I see the answer in your question (BIOS). i will try to find solution for you

Update: I successfully was able to "unhide" the options in the BIOS with some AMI tools.
Now I have the CSM (&CSM Parameters), Secure Boot and Fastboot options in BIOS.
But still - WIN10 installer and Ubuntu 15.04 installer (including GParted) don't detect the SSD.
I tried almost every possible combination of BIOS options state, and still the issue appears.
I'm at a loss.. even ASUS support can't help me.

Can you please Explain how did you exactly managed to unhide the secure boot options, and with what ami tool, from where?
