Won't go reverse why

I have a 03 jaguar xtype 3.0 AWD and it just stop going reverse makes all shifts great but won't go reverse

Check your fluid level. The first gear to notice that there's a lack of transmission fluid is always reverse. Don't leave it long or damage will be done .

How do i do that

by

look for the dipstik for the transmission run the car till its at operating temp and pull the dipstick and see if its in the right area of the dipstick. it must be running when you check it

transmission is on the drivers side of this car so look in the engine compartment on thais side of the vehical for the dipstick ford marks there dipsticks in red for trans and yellow for engine oil

My jaguar doesn't have a dipstick for the transmission it just has a bolt to put the oil in it
