earbud change, metal plate

how can i replace the metall thing between the earbud and the front glass? the glass is just new and now the speaker (earbud) is broken. i ordered a new cable (no.3) and earbud for the repair. thanks...

can i leave it in the case...and just put on the new speaker?

the metal ring should be attached to rear housing so just replacing the speaker shouldn't mean you need a new ring
