screen dimmed out itunes cant access

my iphone 5c screen was working fine and then the screen went dim to black and never came back up. i opened it to check the wires and everything was fine, i connect it to my pc and after about 3 minutes it will recognize it so i decided to put it into restore mode, it does but then itunes says to allow access to iphone respond from iphone..... thats as far as ive gotten. i downloaded a previous ipsw and all i get is not compatible with my device. should i buy a new screen? should i buy new parts? this will be my 2nd screen ..... the original cracked and i replaced it with no issues until now.

no water damage either.

Have you tried putting it into DFU mode?

yes i tried but since i cant see anything i just settle for anything which is usually restore mode.....also it comes up as iphone not my usual iphone name

Ok, than try reconnecting cables of your old LCD and touch. If that wont work, try replacing it with the new one. Its pretty easy and you have all the guides here on IFIXIT.

the old one is only the wires .... the screen shattered and wires broke off..... i guess i'll buy a new one thanks
