Asus x550lb Power saver = 100% disc usage

Hi guys, I have an Asus x550lb with a clean Windows 8 OS just installed. For some weird reason my laptop freezes and goes into 100% disc load ONLY when switched to the power saver mode. Disabling Superfetch is not helping. Tried a lot of thing and have no idea why this is happening

replace the hard disk with an SSD the samsung Hdd that comes with the unit is trash

i had the same problem as well
