Why does my phone not connect to Wifi networks?

Recently, my phone will not connect to the WiFi in my home. I have tried turning my phone off and then back on. I have also tried putting it into airplane mode and then reverting back to receiving signal and it does not help either. Furthermore, my phone has plenty of battery and none of my settings are askew.

Answer this question I have this problem too

  1. Ensure that your WiFi setting is enabled so that your antenna is activated and searching for networks.
  2. Find your home network name and click on it to connect.
  3. Type in your password for network access.

If this does not work then there may be a problem with your router.

  1. Unplug you router and then plug it back in order to restart the modem.
  2. Repeat steps 2 and 3 from the first set of steps.

If this does not work please refer to this troubleshooting page for more information on WiFi connectivity issues.

If all of the above steps don't solve your problem, replacement of the antenna will be necessary. This antenna replacement guide should be able to help you.
