SOLVED: No sound in earpiece, unless I press on it... - iPhone 5

No sound in earpiece, unless I press on it...

I've just changed the earpiece speaker of my iPhone 5 as it didn't work anymore.

With the new one, I yet don't have a sound unless I press the phone pretty hard on my ear...

I don't understand what I could have missed in the repair guide... :/

Sounds like it isn't properly seated, in the little brackets, that they're supposed to go into.

I've just rechecked that the earpiece is properly seated, and it seems to be the case.

I'm wondering what I could do wrong... :/

I guess you could've gotten a bad part. Where'd you get it from?

Even ifixit can send out bad parts. Though, I'm wondering if it's the socket connector, on the logic board now
