What to use for glass bits?

Hey, guys. So I'm preparing to fix my shattered digitizer myself, gathering tools and such. My question is what can I use to gently but thoroughly clear the LCD of small glass shards so that they don't scratch the LCD or get trapped under the new front? Thanks in advance!
