Have you checked for spark at the plugs and is there fuel , do you hear the pump run when you turn on the key before you crank the engine? Can the engine breath is the air filter plugged . Is there a security system on the truck . I have a 1996 silverado that has duel batteries and if one battery is disconnected then the security system wont allow the truck to start it fires then quits.. Just a few things to check .Hope this helps
