2009 MacBook 13" Logic Board replacement but which model

Hi, Firstly many congratulations on the great detailed procedure for removing a logic board from my Macbook - I would never have attempted to do this without your guidance. My 2009 Macbook has just decided not to turn on and local computer guy advises it is probably the logic board. Have removed the logic board from the Macbook and from your guide it appears that it is a 2009 model with a Santa Rosa Penryn layout. Did not retain a record of the specs of my Macbook prior to it not working, so have no idea what model, processor or any other details. Am now looking to buy a replacement logic board but am stuck as to what logic board to order.

Can I tell this by looking at the existing logic board? The only info. appears to be on a label along the ram holder which contains the following:-

"J582601350PJG* 630-9281 CN K36A MLB" The only other info. is "Mac-1 024" and "Screen 002"

Would appreciate any help from a member on this issue. Thanks. Nick

Do you have the serial number form the bottom?? you can go to apples warranty site and enter the serial and it should show the year of the computer then you should be abe to go to ebay and find the board for it. Those white MacBooks non unibody board are sub $50
