Printhead is jammed error code 3527 - can it be fixed?

Kodak support says no, but I think it can. Color cartridge is empty, black is full. Printhead does not move at all and I think paper dust could be the culprit. I'm thinking I can get into it (warranty over anyway) and see why it 's nt moving. Yes, I'm female but grew up with brothers and am pretty hands on Ms. Fixit!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

This YouTube video looks promising:http://youtu.be/NoN-5bc8EWY. As you suspect, it may have gotten in this situation due to paper dust. In the worst case scenario you need a cheap replacement printer for an old printer, so figure it out and go for it!

The video is for a 9250 and is similar but not the same - no clip for access door over printhead. Other video features cutting away plastic over printhead and I don't have a small saw for that. What other way can I get to the printhead? I already bought an HP envy 5660 and took the kodak to be recycled BEFORE I saw the fixes. Called Staples and the still have my kodak so going back to retrieve it. LOVE that printer!

Anything else on the 7250? Please!!??!!
