Can't here talking after replacing screen assembly

I have a girl that replaced her own screen assembly on iPhone 5. everything was working but all of a sudden she says that she can't here anyone talking. music still sounds and also earpiece works. When she calls someone they can here her. I'm stumped on this one. Any suggestions??

Hi there.

I think it maybe your front camera flex cable. Sometimes it can be internally damaged when you switch it from your old screen to the new one. The front camera flex cable is the relay for the ear speaker.

Try changing your front camera flex cable first.

Haha!I was myself a DIY Guy. It lead me a lot farther then expected

Its an easy repair she should be fine.
