Phone will not charge, tried everything

Noticed it wouldn't charge with my wall adaptor so I figured the cable or charger and given out. Plugged it into the one in my car annnnd nothing. Got home and decided to try the car chargers cord with my laptop and it charged for a few seconds then quit. It would cycle between charging and not charging and has finally stopped even doing that

Options

Zach Brennan, start off with a new battery. It will not charge if you have a bad battery. Once you replace it and you use a proper cable and charger, reevaluate. Should it still not charge, you will have to take a closer look at the components on your board. It is possible that your PMIC has failed.
