How do I fix the touch id for iPhone 6+

I got a new phone that had the glass replaced, and when i tried updating the software it got stuck in recovery mode. When i contacted apple they said that these 3rd party screen installers don't connect the touch ID. does anyone know how I can fix this?

Are you using the original home button with the new display? Only the original will allow you to continue using touch ID.

If the original home button wasn't transferred over, then it will throw up an error 53 on an update or if it has been restored, this essentially can brick the phone.

I've tried changing the connection cable to the home button, tried restoring with n without Touch ID been connected, tried a replacement home button; all gave error 53. Now am hoping to try a complete screen assembly from another iPhone 6 Plus using my Touch ID alongside... Let u know if that succeeds
