Why isn't my LG G2 Screen working?

So I'm currently in possession of an LG G2 that is serving as my temporary phone until the Moto X Pure is released. I've only had it for two days.

I put my phone down on my desk and leave it there for about 10 minutes. When I come back, the phone screen is black and unresponsive to double-tapping or pressing the power button. I holding the power button down for about 10 seconds, nothing. The screen seems to be lit occasionally (a blue overcast when tilted) but no images come up. That quickly goes away after about 5 seconds. A few times a sliver of gray can be seen in the center after attempting a soft reset, but then it returns to being blank. Also, every time I even touch the power button, the bottom of the phone begins to heat up. A lot. Exact temps I'm not sure but only putting it close to something cold does it calm down.

A few attempts at a hard reset have resulted in the front light switching from blue to green and back again and a few vibrations, but other than that I don't know. I have no idea if the vibrations mean the phone is running or it is trying to do something.

It hasn't experienced any big shocks, nor any submerges (at least while it has been in my possession. My older sister was the first owner of this phone and lent it to me as a temp).

Help is appreciated!
