Black paper behind keyboard broken, is it bad?

When taking out the logic board after spilling beer inside the laptop, a little piece broke off the black paper between the logic board and the keyboard.

Is this a problem? Please see the picture. It looks like normal paper but I'm not sure.

Before putting back the logic board I'd like to know what to do with this situation.

Options

Most suppliers send a replacement when you order a new keyboard. If not just slap some captain tape on it.
