I tried to turn on my iMac G5 with every thing plugged in and it will not turn on. It doesn't even show lights or anything. can any one tell me whats wrong with it and can anyone tell me how much it will cost to fix it thank you.

This model had a bad capacitor issue. Open it up and plug it in. Examine the capacitors for swelling and/or corrosion. There are two cuda buttons located about the middle of the logic board down and to the left. With it plugged in press the bottom first to reset the SMU then the top to start the machine. There are four diagnostic lights to the right of the cuda sbuttons. See which ones come one and tell us and we can proceed.
