I need to replace the swich which.

One of the activators has been forced while it was stuck. This resulted in the perforation of the top of the small plastic cylinder which holds a spring. As a result the lach is loose and does not play its role of actionating the switch. I need to buy the broken parts. Where can I find it ?

I dis-assembled as per insstruction, and found one of the two activators to be broken. Ordering and receiving can take some time, so in the interim, I cut the red and black wires and marred them together. The activators are wired in series so that works well until I get another.

Called the service number. They will not sell or provide the springs or switch parts to repair. You can buy an entire base for $50. NO THANKS!!

Jose Rivera, your response does not answer the question at all. ifixit is not about referring to the manufacturer but about how to fix it yourself. Ever tried to get the manufacturer to fix their appliances.?

Doesn't look like you can buy replacement contact switches easily and online - I think wiring the switches in series will prolong the life of the blender without compromising safety.
