sleep/wake problem after RAM extend

Hi I have Lenovo G580 laptop, that had only 4gigs of RAM which was too little for me so i bought another 4 GB and inserted it into the second slot... Works fine BUT problem occurs when i close lid and laptop goes to sleep... till now ewerithing is fine BUT when I open the lid and laptop should wake it only starts but stays black for ewer...

I bought RAM with same clock and size but different brand.

Options

Pull the new RAM and see if the problem persists. It may be an unrelated issue. Here's how in case you didn't use the guide: Lenovo Essential G580 Processor + Memory/Ram Upgrade

thank you. I did as you said. With memory taken out the problem pressists.
