Can I use electrical tape, instead of thermal paste?

took apart my hp2000 to clean/fix fan removed old thermal paste. and was wondering if electrical tape would work?

Follow Mayer's answer below. Electrical tape is not a heat conductor so all you'll do is cook your CPU.

No it won't. If you have to have it right now, pick up a tube at Radio Shack. Else wise order from iFixit. [linked product missing or disabled: IF179-010]
