Do you mean you have broken the glass? (Digitizer) or the LCD?

I have a cracked touch screen (is this the same as a digitizer?) My phone still works and the touch screen responds.
You have only cracked the glass, if the digitiser was broken, the Touch wouldn't work, as the digitiser is the touch panel.
