LG Refrigerator freezer is cold, but not freezing

I bought a used LG refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom. It was standing up right in the move and was left to settle for 8 hours. It has now been 48 hours since it was plugged in and the fridge and freezer are both cool, but neither are all that cold.

I know it sounds dumb but have you checked the temperature knob to make sure its set to a temperature you want? Also since it is a used Refrigerator, you might want to check if the condenser coils are dirty as the build up can prevent the refrigerant from passing through and provide the proper cooling. Otherwise, have your compressor and main board checked.

Best of Luck!

Well the could weren't all that dirty, but we blew any dust/dirt off. I'm not sure if it worked since we found out that the refrigerator had a 30 day warranty and they had someone pick it up to check the fridge shortly after we tried cleaning the coils. But thank you for the advice! :)
