I have a Kenmore HE3 electric dryer with an F01 error code. I replaced the control board, but it did not fix the problem. Any ideas as to what else could be wrong?

stacychalmers, you already know that the F01 indicates a failed electronic machine control board. since your board is new, check the cables that connect to it. Make sure theose are all proeprly seated and that the connector fits properly etc. There is also a possibility that this is caused by the door switch. If it does not make proper contact it can sometimes get your machine to show a F01. Check it out and let us know.
