Malfunctioning Texas Instruments TI-84 screen due to getting wet.

My calculator got wet inside my backpack due to a water bottle spilling. Twentyfive percent of the screen is not visible but the other seventyfive is. I have out in rice and called Texas Instruments for help but nothing has worked. I really need this calculator for school ans i do not have money to buy a new one. Please help!

You should open it up and allow it to dry at room temperature. There are no small parts or springs and such so it will be okay to open, just do it slowly and remember the disassembly process.

If you have Isopropyl use that to clean down the board and leave it to dry for at least 5hours.

If that doesn't fix it, I have another process that might work in restoring the screen.

That is unfortunate. Is it still the same as it was? i.e. works but some of the screen is not working?

No like 50% is not visible. So when I wasn to graph not the whole graph shows up.
