iPhone won't turn on

i had open up my iphone 3g to change the vibrator/mute button. it was successfully done. But now the problem is not turning back on. i did disassembled 3 times already but didn't help. it does go in dfu mode but doesn't show on itune. when its plug into computer than the only thing phone screen does is black small tiny boxes on entire screen for few secs. i plug my phone to my wall charger than it does turn on and shows me an apple pic and goes off. Do you have suggestion or answer why is it doing it?

The fact that it works better on the wall than the computer leads me to believe it is a battery issues, or a dock connector issue. I would check once again that cable 4 is sitting properly (The wide cable near the bottom that connects the dock connector to the logic board).

Also check that the battery connection is good. It contacts the board underneath the lower 2 screws along the right side of the logic board.

If none of this works, check the voltage of your battery with a multimeter. It should be ~3.7V.
