Repairing MagSafe 85W Broken Cable, How to Solder Blue / Brown Cable?

In the Repair Guides section the instructions read :

- Join both white cable wires and solder them together.

- Remember that the white wire from the AC adapter NEEDS to be soldered to the white wire from the cable that comes from the MacBook connector.

However, the wires inside my MagSafe 85W A1222 are blue and brown. To which one do I solder the white wire from the cable that comes from the MacBook connector?

Unfortunately I cut the wires and threw away the pieces before reading the instructions in detail. Otherwise the cable connection could be checked easily.

Blue usually signifies Neutral and Brown is Live, Yellow Green is Earth. what part of the charger are you trying to fix ?
