Microphone not working, next steps after replacing

I have a 5c that has a duff microphone.

I've replaced the mic with a known working microphone from a different charging port. However, this hasn't fixed the problem, so assuming to be a board issue.

Is anyone able to point out the components on the logic board that are used to control the microphone please, or have any suggestions for next steps for diagnosis?

Dave C, you did check the pins on the lightning connector socket to make sure they are not bend etc. there are a whole bunch of components and it would take a long time to list them all. I suggest you try and get the schematic for the 5C and check the circuitry for Mic1
