turn on but has no signal

I've held the power down and waited for the two beeps, nothing seems so be changing.. I've also seen a comment to where I touch and hold the power button until it turns off and when you put it back on it should work... This doesn't do the job either, I've had this problem before and your answer fixed it just this morning, but now all I'm getting is "no signal" someone please help this is getting so frustrating ;(

This is a pretty common problem.

Check out some of the solutions from this thread. This can be an HDMI signaling issue, so try turning off your TV and disconnecting the HDMI cable.

There's also a great http://www.thebuzzmedia.com/ps3-hdmi-bla.... It could be a cheap HDMI cable, out of date TV firmware, out of date PS3 firmware, or a bad HDMI port.
