Need to reconfigure but have no disc

After a power outage, lost WIFI connection. Spent time with cable supplier and Linksys on phone ( they say router is too old - but it is only 2 years old). Apparently need to re-configure, but can't find original disc. I think it should be simple procedure but all tecky people I have talked to so far want me to buy a new router. I think this one should still be ok. Please help. Thank you.

If it's configuration you're wanting to do, you can type in the router's IP address into any browser's address bar. You can find your IP address by pressing start, typing cmd, and hitting enter. In the black dialog that pops up type ipconfig. The address to type into your browser is the Default Gateway. Once you type that in, it will prompt for a user name and password. The defaults are usually admin and password. From there you should be able to configure what you need to.
