screen replacement on lg g3

so i own a lg g3 from us cellular. When i look for a screen replacement all im getting is the screens for the major carriers that say they will only work with there respective models. Is there any truth to that or can i use one from say sprint or verizon.

Yeah thats the thinking im having as well just dont want to buy the wrong display and have the connections not be the same or something. Us cellular models are generally not supported as well as the other carriers but where i live im stuck with them. thanks for the reply.

I've never come across one that was different based on network. It shouldn't matter, but in general US Cellular phones are typically most similar to Sprint phones. Same network type, in many areas it is Sprint.
