Flex circuit is different on replacement battery versus orginal
The flex circuit on the battery removed is different than the flex circuit on the replacement?
Is that a problem?

brucemm, it most certainly could be. If it has a different routing, it will not properly fit. This is most commonly caused by improper identification of the iPod. Make sure that it's a Classic, not a Video. Make sure that you get the right battery for your iPod.
