How to fix my frozen iPhone

My Iphone keeps freezing, I've let it run flat and then recharge it and then it worked for a couple of hours and now its frozen again. I cant restart it because my lock button doesn't work and my computer needs me to respond on my phone for it to be restarted on Itunes help me what can i do?

Also the screen doesn't respond to me tapping on it

Hello Tara,

The only way to get out of this is to open it and disconnect the battery (as a temporary workaround). Since the power button is not working, you need to plug it in a power adapter for it to switch on. If it's still freezing then you probably have a defective Logic Board.

If nothing else is working you can force it into recovery mode. As your lock/power button isn't working you can use a software called Tenorshare ReiBoot that will do it. It also allows you to exit recovery mode and get your phone on again.

As it is freezing all the time it sounds like you might need to do a restore as something may be corrupt. Just back everything up and then restore it back on your phone.

If it is still freezing after that you might have to just try restoring it and setting it up as new.
