How do I find serial number if cassing is not orignal?

I need to replace the drive on my Xbox 360 the outer casing is two different pieces. and im not sure if the serial number is the correct one for it. any thoughts???

Options

Go to the system info screen on the Xbox dashboard.

1. turn device on

2. navigate to options

3. Select system

4. then system info
