My phone won't stay on.

I have had the phone for over a year with no problem. I was trying some new setting in the general setting under the restrictions and voice over "on" seems to have done something to interrupt the phone from being able to stay on. I rebooted several times by holding both buttons. I updated all the software, did a restore. (probably lost all my contacts etc!). Help. thanks.

restoring should delete all the settings you've made - but to be sure about that - restore it again but this time do it in DFU Mode.

use this video guide for that: CLICK

if the problem still persists - your iphone has a hardware related problem
