Thank you very much for your advice. Unfortunately, I do not understand any of it because I have never opened the back of an amplifier in my life.
I live near Cleveland, Ohio, and travel frequently to Toledo, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, and Buffalo, New York.
Do you know of anyone in those cities that can repair my unit?

I am sorry, but no idea about repairs in that area. You think you could work on your amp?
Nathan Blossom , first off you want to make sure that all the caps are still good. Check for any leakage around the capacitors as well as bulging tops. Than you want to make sure that you clean all pots and switches with some deoxidizer. Double check all connections on the speaker relay. A good visual inspection would be the best start. Also, post some images of what the circuit boards on your Denon look like, with your question.
