phone will not ring for incoming calls

Phone does not ring for incoming calls. I get ringtones for voicemail and texts, but not for incoming calls. I have checked ringtone and it rings loud, but nothing for incoming. I have it on vibrate too, but that only works if it is in my pocket. I have gone through all of the tool settings and modes. I can't find anything wrong.
