You will need to replace the whole upper case. Here's how: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2009 Upper Case Replacement

Here's the US version part: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody (Mid 2009) Upper Case and Trackpad

Most of these came with non-removable keyboards. If you noticed the keyboard part is not listed separately. Some had about 50 screws to remove them.

Here's your model number MC240LL/A. You may be able to find one on eBay. Good Luck.

It is possible to replace only the keyboard but there are tons of little screws and took me all day to do and they are easily strippable (So get a good and correct size precision screw driver). I did resurrect a 13 macbook unibody that had liquid spilled over the keyboard (logic board was safe). Bottom line you can get replacement keyboard for cheap on ebay but takes a lot of time to install. Buying a top case case will save a lot of time but cost money. FYI: I'm going to try to resurrect another broken unibody I purchased on ebay and probably post a tutorial.

As a cheaper solution I suggest you check out KB Covers they have fairly cheap keyboard covers you can stick right over your keyboard without having to buy and install a whole keyboard. They also have all the EURO designs I believe, qwerty, azerty, etc.

You can buy a keyboard-only replacement at aliexpress.com for example.

You have to choose a fitting keyboard... your macbook version and the keyboard which fits the housing (US and Euro Keyboards for example are different... )

They cost about 40$ and will be sent all around the world.

As others have already said, the keyboard is fixet with 50 or 60 tiny screws... so buy a good screwdriver and take your time.

The official way - replace the whole top cover case with the keyboard and trackpad attached.

Unofficial way - replace just the keyboard.
