No sim card displayed after repair

I have a GSM iPad 2 and I'm trying to repair it. I work in a repair store, and after changing the screen and the SIM card try it is still showing "no sim". I don't know if there is another part that needs to be replaced but I can't figure it out.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I have had this issue and I noticed that the little metal tab in bottom of the tray that grounds out when the sim is inserted is bent and I had to shim a small piece of paper between the two pieces and it fixed it. I hope this helps.
