if i change my home button on my iphone will the id finger senor still work with new home button

No, Touch ID will die immediately and if you try to restore/upgrade iOS, the phone dies altogether.

Hi,
Try a hard reset ,
Where you press the on/off switch and home button .
It has worked for me every time I have had the issue.

If you replace it with a home button that has a touch sensor in it, then yes. Why are you changing the home button, is it broken?
