Cursor jumping all over the place in W10?

I have a new ASUS laptop QL302. I went straight from windows 8.1 to 10, and then starting loading my programs. I am having a terrible time w/the cursor jumping all over the place, no matter the program, leaving me highly frustrated. It happens in Google Chrome the worst, then even in Word 2010 it won't stay in place when I'm writing something. I've tried changing the touchpad sensitivity, typing, etc. All to no avail.

Update. I JUST had a Windows update & it seems to be better. Still would love to have some feedback from someone else who may be more experienced than I.
