Speed sensor on rear of W123 280E speedo.

Two wires are attached to the speed sensor solenoid module on the rear of my 280E speedometer - the one with the black plastic cover which screws onto the speedo back cover, One is Green-Yellow the other is Brown. Unfortunately my brown one broke off during disassembly so I had to solder it back on. In order to do so I had to disassemble the associated plug. In doing so both wires fell out before I could note their relevant positions in the plug. Can someone please tell me if the yellow-green wire is closest to the top of the speedo or the bottom of the speedo please?

Here is a picture out of the instrument cluster guide. This is from a 300D but this particular part is likely the same. It's the best picture I have. Zoom in to it for more detail.

It looks to me like green/yellow is on the right side/passenger size of said plug. Hope it helps.

Thank you Nicholas. It looks as though I reassembled the plug correctly. Your prompt reply was greatly appreciated!
