Conducting a DIY reiar on an iphone 6 plus, I found there was some frame damage...will any problems arise besides the screen not fitting in properly?

Not necessarily going to be any problems from frame damage. Could you attach a picture of the damage?
And if the screen won't sit in correctly, it's easy to take a small chisel and hammer or a piece of sandpaper to allow the screen to sit in like it's supposed to. Just be gentle, the frame is very soft

Thank you for that! I was sure you could modify it to where the display would fit in properly, but this is my first iphone 6 plus repair and I'm just being extra careful. Thanks a million!!
